I hate, absolutely hate leaving bad reviews, but here we are. My husband and I came at half three on a Saturday afternoon, there were only three tables occupied. I ordered chunky steak pie mash and peas, husband ordered the chicken tikka masala. I can not explain how bad my food looked when it arrived. It had clearly been placed on the plate stone cold and microwaved, but the pie had heated and the gravy and mash and peas had not. They weren’t even warm, flat out cold. The young man on the till could not have been more helpful and apologetic to be fair, but there is only so much he could do. In order to get a refund you have to leave the cafe and go to customer service which is in the supermarket, you don’t get refunded from the till you paid into. All in all very poor.

We were staying locally and decided to pop in for breakfast in the cafe, that was a mistake as we were time limited and service was shockingly slow. Once we had already ordered and paid we overheard a member of staff telling another customer that it was at least a or minute wait for hot food. Not long after taking our seats the cafe was forced to close to new customers as the wait time had become too long. If the cafe had been packed it would have been understandable but there were plenty of unoccupied tables. Only the young man serving on the till seemed to have any sense of the need for maintaining some pace to service. Every other member of staff I saw seemed to be on a go slow, plodding along with no sense that there was a situation to be dealt with. The food was of a decent standard thankfully, the hash browns were particularly nice.

We were there for breakfast which arrived quickly. My husband had the small full breakfast and I had toast and a sliced banana. Freshly made. Staff very friendly. Would certainly recommend.Parking: Disabled spaces right by the entranceWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room. Tables not too close together.

Probably the worst breakfast I've ever eaten. Everything was burnt, dry, the mushrooms looked like they had been left out in the sun for a week. I sent mine back, got another breakfast cut into my sausage and a clear fluid come flying out the sausage which instantly put me off. I wasn't the only one the other people eating left there's and there were other tables on the cafe that were looking around in amazement that they had been handed there appalling breakfast.
